It is our last day here at California so we took a nature hike around the guest house which was led by Mrs.Smith. She explained the different trees and flowers to us. She also told us about the pine cones. Then we went to a BBQ they had at the place we were staying at. We ate ribs, sausages, chicken, rice, beans, and homemade vanilla ice cream. There was also a raffle, but unfortunately we didn't win anything. We called the Super Shuttle service to take us to the airport. We went through the routine once again of the check-in's. Then we waited until our plane arrived. We boarded and headed back home. This trip was not only fun, but also informative I just wanted to thank the Arthur M. Blank Foundation for setting this trip up for us.

Today we took the Caltrain to San Francisco where we were hoping we could go to the Fisherman's Wharf and see the famous Golden Gate Bridge. Everything was going according to plan, but then we took the wrong trolley going the opposite direction we didn't realize this until it was the last stop and we were at the beach. This mistake at least wasn't all that bad because Ramon and I wrote our Falcon Robotics 842 logo on the beach. We got to see the ocean and it was fantastic. We picked up some sand dollars while we were there. Then we headed back to our original destination and took the right trolley. After a long trip we arrived, but we were starving so we ate at small restaurant were we chose a Beef Chili Bean or Clam Chowder in a sourdough bowl-like shaped bread. It was very tasteful we our classic Coke. Then we picked up some souvenirs and went to a WW2 submarine ship. We got to see where they slept and all of the inside of the sub it was a lot of fun. Then we went to the end of the deck to see the Golden Gate Bridge from afar and we did it was huge! I also had the opportunity to see a group of sea lions just taking a sun bath which was so cool. Then we headed back to the Stanford guest house by taking the subway, Caltrain, and Muni. We ordered Chinese food and read our fortune from the cookie and went back to our rooms to sleep.

On our way to Stanford we met up at the airport at 6:00 in the morning. Most of us were tired and sleepy we went through the routine of checking in our bags and then the security check in. We were all hungry because none of us had ate breakfast so we decided to go to Wendy's. After a tasty sandwhich we boarded our plane to San Jose. We arrived at the San Jose Airport and went to baggage claim to pick up our bags then we took the Super Shuttle service to take us to the Stanford Guest house. We put all our luggage in one room and went to our Stanford tour. The admission counselor told us exactly what we needed to know in order to get into Stanford. Then our tour guide showed us around campus all the different schools and buildings. We got an enourmous amount of informaton during these hours. We then went to a Mediterranean restaurant and I ate a Beef Kabbab which was incredibly delicous. After we were all finished eating we headed back to the Stanford Guest House to get our rooms and settle in. This day was awesome and informative.

NURC

We got a new electrical sytem setup which is the button box then we put everything together and passed the safety inspection test. After that we went to qualify and we did. Then we went to eat lunch because we were hungry. I was having so much fun. Everything was cool and I got to see a 3d printer. Then we got our official time for the real competition. Our time came and we were there but our view was blurry because some of the things we put to make it water tight got in the camera. We were able to locate the square nessie bait but we decided to pull tether because we were lost and we cancelled out our points. Then the funniest thing happened dillon said that he saw "fishies" in the pool and we started to laugh. The thing that I really liked about NURC was that I learned a lot about underwater rov's and that it was awesome.
